Dr. Patrick Wood has been the Senior Pastor of Smithfield Baptist Church since December 2018. He has been in fulltime ministry for fifteen years and has served churches in Virginia and Indiana. He is married to his best friend Jennifer, and they have been blessed with three children, Caden, Caylee Grace, and Calvin. Patrick loves spending time with his family, loves books, history, Dr. Pepper, doughnuts, and Alabama Crimson Tide football! His favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good, and not for evil. To give you a future, and a hope.
