Welcome to Smithfield Baptist Preschool!
Our primary focus is to provide a nurturing Christian environment where each child is treasured and taught the love of Jesus Christ. Through fun and play and hands-on learning, we foster kindness and respect, model problem solving, strengthen gross and fine motor skills, and teach reading and writing readiness. We serve students 2 ½ years-old through kindergarten. Our instructional hours are 9am to 12pm for preschool and 8:40am to 12:20pm for kindergarten. Our Afternoon Adventures Program welcomes students enrolled in our weekly four and five-day classes. Meet Our Director
Kristi Elliott
Hello! I am the Director of Smithfield Baptist Preschool. I have cared for, guided, taught and assisted children in some way since I was 12 years old. I love children, I love church and I love school! When I consider my previous positions, being the Director here is a culmination of my life’s work in school administration and admissions, child care, finance, policy and procedure, and most importantly providing children with the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and fun environment.
