In today’s message, “Depart From Me!” from Matthew 7:21–23, we look at one of the most serious warnings Jesus gives in the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus makes it clear that words alone are not enough, religious activity is not enough, and even outward devotion is not enough if there is no true submission to the will of God.

This sermon calls us to examine our hearts, guard against false assurance, and make sure our faith is rooted in a real relationship with Christ and not merely in appearance, tradition, or activity. God’s will is not our perfection, but the direction of a life surrendered to Him.
