In this Sunday’s message, “The Healing of the Demoniacs” from Matthew 8:28–34, we see the absolute authority of Jesus on full display. As He confronts demonic forces in a Gentile region, Christ reveals that He is not only a teacher and healer, but the divine Messiah with power over evil itself.

This powerful passage challenges us to consider how we respond to Jesus. While even the demons recognized His authority, the people of the region rejected Him, more concerned with their losses than with His saving power. Through this message, we are reminded that Jesus has overcome evil through His cross and resurrection, and He alone can bring true deliverance, restoration, and hope.
