In this Sunday’s message, “Peter’s Mother-in-law Healed!” from Matthew 8:14–17, we see the compassion, power, and love of Jesus on full display. As Christ heals Peter’s mother-in-law and many others who were suffering, we are reminded that no pain, no burden, and no person is beyond His care.

This passage shows us that Jesus came with authority over sickness, suffering, and sin. His healing ministry reveals His heart for the hurting, His love for those often overlooked, and His power as the promised Messiah. More than physical healing, these miracles point us to the greater hope found in Him—the victory He has secured over sin and suffering through His death and resurrection.
